Wedding Flowers

I had another opportunity last month to go along with my very talented florist sister as she set up for a wedding reception. It's always feels good to get outside the box for a bit and explore a world where I don't have to tickle my subject to make them smile. :)

August Reception

I got to go along with my sister as she (yet again) did another fantastic job creating floral arrangements for a wedding.

This reception was extra special for me because the caterer decided to hire me on the spot to take some pictures of the food as well, possibly to be used in a documentary BYU is doing on her! She's very talented and made my mouth water just by editing these!

Wedding Flowers

One of my sisters recently started arranging flowers for weddings and does very elegant, beautiful work! She asked me a few weeks ago to photograph the flowers as she set up before a reception. It was fun for me to do something different since I typically focus on photographing people, not flowers.

This one of the bride's bouquet I might have had a little more fun editing than usual, but I love it! It's now the backdrop on my computer screen.
