I am a total sucker for blue eyes, and this little princess has such beautiful ones!
I have to say, her mother deserves a mom-of-the-year award for picking up and holding a huge, dead dragon fly just to make her daughter, a bug lover, look where I wanted. What a great mom!!

My Kids
It's no small task to get these two to let me take their picture. (I'm pretty sure being their mom and them wanting to obey anyone else but me has something to do with it.) I take so many candid, everyday shots of my kids that sometimes it's hard to remember to go out and do an actual session with them, but I'm so glad to have these! They were worth it!

Wedding Flowers
One of my sisters recently started arranging flowers for weddings and does very elegant, beautiful work! She asked me a few weeks ago to photograph the flowers as she set up before a reception. It was fun for me to do something different since I typically focus on photographing people, not flowers.
This one of the bride's bouquet I might have had a little more fun editing than usual, but I love it! It's now the backdrop on my computer screen.

Lone Peak Dental
A few month ago I took a photo for the woman and their children from Lone Peak Dental to be published in Utah Valley Magazine. I had to wait until it was printed in the July/August issue to share these. It was a very quick session due to some harsh weather that day , but somehow the rain and wind paused just long enough to get at least one with the exact look they wanted for the magazine.
Here are a few others from our 15 minutes out in the cold:
